sonamy@hotmail.com Bio| about me: i was born sometime before the first teenage mutant ninja turtles magazine came out in norway, and spent 90% of my childhood pretending to be donatello. i got a turtles costume for my 5'th birthday, and wore it even if it had a red bandana. what i'm doing: from this summer on, i'm living in tromsø and attending the northernmost university in the world. i am convinced that as long as i live in a place like norway, i should try and go to the most extreme places possible. |

| one of my hobbies is understanding, ever so slowly, how our brains work. i especially love learning about the biological aspects of this. i think hallucinogens and other drugs offer an amazing insight to the workings of the brain, and i support erowid. other than that - i love cooking, eat little meat and am very sympathetic to vegans, like my camera and own my own weight in books. |

| plans: i'm getting together a BA in psychology, hopefully picking up some chem and biology this fall. preferably i'd like to go on to get a master's in neuroscience. i also plan on making use of my japanese-abilities, i lived in okayama for a year in 2004/5 and have the JLPT lvl 2. i took jap220 back in norway, u of bergen this spring. i don't think i'll be able to forget japanese, though i have no idea what to use it for, as i don't particulary want to spend a big portion of my life in japanese society. the language, however, is beautiful. i don't want to stay in scandinavia either, i am planning on taking jobs and studies abroad after my surviving 3 years of tromsø. |
